Exciting News!
We’re thrilled to announce the upcoming launch of our Board Restoration Service!
After years of breathing new life into countless boards, we’re now offering this expertise to you. Whether it’s a beloved classic or a worn-out gem, we’ll restore it to its former glory.
✨ See it to believe it! Check out our stunning before-and-after transformation and discover how Beaver and Kit can revive your old board into something extraordinary.

This tired old board was on its last legs—deep scratches, big chips in the edges, and a look that screamed landfill-bound. But instead of meeting its end, we rescued it from a car boot and turned it into our showcase piece, proving just how much life can be restored to an old board!
The transformation starts with carefully removing all residue and smoothing out those scratches. Using a range of precision-grade tools, we bring the surface back to life, one step at a time.

Next, we tackled those tired, chipped edges, giving them a sleek, rounded bevel for a fresh and polished look. It’s incredible how much of a difference this simple step makes—our once-forgotten board is already starting to shine!
The transformation is well underway.

To achieve that sleek, glass-like finish, the next step is raising the grain for the final sand. Using a damp cloth, we gently lift the tiny wood fibers, allowing them to dry and stand up. Then, with a fine sanding pad, we smooth everything down to perfection.
This careful process ensures the surface is ultra-smooth and ready to shine.

Now for the final stage—the moment that truly brings a board back to life: our signature Beaver and Kit Board Butter.
We apply a generous layer, letting the rich oil soak deep into the wood, nourishing and enhancing its natural beauty. After wiping off any excess, we allow the board to dry, revealing a stunning finish that’s smooth, vibrant, and full of character.
Check out the final result below—we’re pretty proud of how this transformation turned out. What do you think? We can’t wait to work our magic on your old boards next!
